Guest Poster T. Lee Alexis Talks About Her Marriage Kink #Erotica

Marriage is my kink

By T. Lee Alexis

I never thought I had a kink. I’m probably the most sexually liberated person I know. I’m sure that doesn’t make me unique among erotica writers, but even after dipping into a sea of erotic stories over the last 20 years, from literary sketches to the raunchiest one-handers, I thought I knew myself pretty well.

Turns out, I was wrong. I have a specific, charged and expansive kink. It’s a kink so encompassing it’s hard to see, like the horizon circling my erotic life.

My kink is marriage. And I have to wonder if you’re with me.

Everything about it, what it restricts and what it bestows, sets my imagination ablaze. And it only took looking at my erotic stories to see the theme running like a current through a river. For me, marriage adds an undercurrent of spice, pleasure of secret thrills and delayed release which just (sigh!) hits me where I cross my legs.

Getting Into It

I’ll admit it. At a wedding, I’m a crier. In the bedroom, I’m a screamer. I don’t think those things are unrelated.

As any level-headed girlfriend can tell you, there’s a vast difference between a wedding and a marriage. That being said, there’s a background flutter in my nerves whenever I go to a wedding.

Everything about them has an aphrodisiac ring: Two people spending the day celebrating their love, sealing themselves off sexually from the rest of the world (pleasure based on restriction? Maybe marriage should be a BDSM sub-category), all pointing to the implied tornado of fun once the door to the honeymoon suite closes.

I know not many make it to the wedding night with their virginity intact. God knows I did not. Still, the sweet, virginal, tiptoeing motifs in every wedding (have you ever been to a wedding without a white wedding dress?) just make the eventual lust fest so much more delicious.

It must, because even when I wanted to write about another kind of kink… a woman enjoying a mature man (The Father and the Bridesmaid), I ended up setting it at a wedding. I must be among friends there, because it became my best selling story.

The Members Only Club

I know there are people who suffer in marriage. The term Dead Bedroom Syndrome wasn’t coined on accident. But for me, married sex is far and away the best.

When you love someone, and they love you, the years of trying to excite each other, surprise each other, satisfy each other as tastes change, all have a crucible effect. Over time, everything that doesn’t work gets boiled away, leaving only what makes you and your partner scream. I noticed this when I found the first story in my Ravenwood Circle erotica series, Marriage Counseling from a Stripper Pole, found me writing on a couple married almost 10 years.

Not the usual sex-with-a-sexy-stranger sort of topic. But that leads me into a side of marriage almost no one talks about, but I’m finding more and more prevalent. Let’s call it the partner-in-crime aspect.

Namely, a happy and satisfied husband and wife venturing outside their marriage, partnering to bring a third into their bedroom. I don’t know if the last 10 years has brought on more threesomes, or simply people talking about threesomes, but the notion of two people so sexually in tune with one another lavishing their skills on a lucky newcomer. Mmmmm mmmm. Let’s say I have some personal experience with this (my story Married Couple Seeks Girlfriend is essentially autobiographical) and it was fantastic.

Three people hopping into bed… yes, yes, very sexy. But when two of them are married, the friction between their ‘pure bond’ and the rule breaking they enjoy by sharing a third like an exotic adventure. That is where it’s at for me.

When the Walls Tumble Down

I know we’re all supposed to hate them, the harlots who help boyfriends and husbands cheat.

I know good girls don’t do things like that. Only a slut steps out on her man.

But ladies, deep down, after you’ve had your relationship atrophy around you, and that guy who just flips your skirt up looks at you in that way your boyfriend never does anymore… The spark of breaking those vows, of giving in and transgressing form something so pure to something so wrong… Ugh that is hot.

There’s a reason so many of us secretly want to be a bad girl for a day. Soaking in the dangerous excitement of breaking vows, the undeniable, toxic thrill of having another woman’s man wrapped around your finger. I have never done any of these things, I swear, but living out the twisted fantasy in The Wicked Witch of West Garland Street was some of the most fun I’ve had writing in a long time.

And watching the final vestiges of a horrible marriage get smashed one passionate night in The Divorce Party was just good old fashioned fun.

There’s a reason the ball and chain metaphor has lingered for so long when it comes to marriage. Because when you’re free of it, running (or in this case fucking) has never felt so good.

So now I want to know. I hope this stroll through many of my stories doesn’t come off as too self serving. But when Tara asked me to write, and I noticed the vein of marriage related themes in my work. Well, I found my kink.

Am I alone?

FOR MATURE READERS ONLY: This story collection contains explicit, sizzling, forbidden and deliciously hot sex. If that's not your thing, or if you're not looking for graphic and spectacular erotica, this is not your book. It’s got threesomes, husbands and wives making sinful and spectacular choices, women bedding interns and living out their wildest fantasies. These stories are perfectly dirty.

As the final years of her youth fade with a pleasant afterglow, she steps into middle age as the attractive wife of one of Chicago’s resteraunt owners and a successful career woman in her own right. And she is contemplating heartbreak even as her dreams seem to come true.

Locked in a marriage with a man she loved but now cannot stand, Eva decides to breaks the confines of her life in an impulsive act which will ripple through her own life, and the lives of those close and far. What she finds is surprising, shocking arousing, searing and emotional, unexpected and deeply satisfying.

As her choices and actions change the meaning of her life, and the life of her loving but misguided husband Peter, people close to Eva begin to use her as an example to change their own lives. When her best friend Lane hears about Eva’s exploits, she’s driven to mend her broken heart in a spectacular and sinful fashion. You won’t want to miss it.

SHARED SINS is the first compilation of T. Lee Alexis’ highly praised stories in her Ravenwood Circle series.

This volume contains a wide and intoxicating spread of erotica, from rough, hard, passionate sex, the threesomes of every kind (FFM and MFM), all layered with enough emotional meaning and genuine feeling to make these tales readable over and over.

While the outside world might try to undermine them, Logan and Christian’s relationship just grows stronger. In this, the final part of the All They Ever Needed trilogy, their lives take an unexpected turn.

Christian takes to heart everything he learns from Logan’s father and as he and Logan go forward in their DD relationship, he finds that he is willing to not just take on the mantle of Head of House, but to embrace it. With Logan graduating from college, Christian takes the next logical step and asks his boyfriend to move in.

Even with the stress of student teaching and trying to figure out what to do after graduation, Logan leaps at the chance to live with the man he loves. As the pressure of graduation begins to get to him, the only thing to keep him grounded is the amazing man at his side.

Those closest to them make huge changes in their own lives and when an unexpected job offer lands in Logan’s lap, the two have to make a life altering decision. No matter which way they go, they need to give something up. Play it safe and stay home or accept the job and move away from their families? When it comes to decision time, there is one thing they are not willing to part with. That one thing makes all the difference in the world.

All They Ever Needed trilogy:
Book 1: As Natural As Breathing
Book 2: Took My Breath Away
Book 3: Breathe Each Other In

Enjoy this little romantic interlude between Logan and Christian:

“Are you sure?” Christian asked in a husky voice.

Logan looked into his boyfriend’s eyes and nodded. “Yes.” It wasn’t even something he had to think about, really. In his mind, they were moving in that direction. Plus, like he stated, he slept at Christian’s every night he was home, anyway. He would be lying, though, if he did not admit he was thrilled to actually be moving in with the man. It felt like such a nice step forward and to have Christian ask meant that he was on the same path. A soft laugh left his lips. “We’re gonna live together. What’s your momma going to say?”

Chuckling, Christian kissed him. “She’s dealt with it before. Derrick and Jane lived together before they got married. She might not like her children being sexually active outside of marriage, but she does accept it.”

Unbearably happy, Logan kissed him again, this time putting even more passion into it. “Fuck,” Christian mumbled into his mouth. “Come on, love, let’s get out of here and get into bed.”

Groaning in agreement, Logan pulled himself off Christian and managed to stand up and out of the tub, helping Christian up as well. “Wait,” Christian said when he went to go rub himself down with a towel. Surprised, he watched his boyfriend briskly dry himself and then grab the towel Logan held, wrapping it around him and slowly wiping off the moisture.

“I could’ve done that,” Logan reminded him softly, feeling like something was shifting.

“I know, but I wanted to. Besides the fact I don’t want our bed wet,” Christian teased, “I like taking care of you. And I rarely get the chance to do so.”

Unable not to, Logan stood and watched, barely containing his desire to attack the man who was currently on his knees drying off Logan’s legs. He could understand that desire as it was one he held for the man in his life; wanting to take care of him and make him happy. “I love you.”

Christian looked up and gave him a look so warm – so filled with love – that Logan’s knees almost gave out. “I love you, too, Logan.” He stood up and tossed the towel to the side and in a movement that forever after made Logan grin like an idiot when he thought of it, Christian swiped one arm under Logan’s knees, and with the other arm around his shoulders, lifted him up, and carried him to bed.

“You’ve been working out,” Logan said appreciatively, feeling the strong muscles holding him.

“I have to keep up with you,” Christian teased lightly, laying him on the bed. Releasing him for a moment, he went to the fridge where they had stashed the small bottle of champagne that had come with the food box. “We need to celebrate.” Without any glasses, he went into the bathroom and grabbed a couple of the cups the lodge provided and brought them back.

Sitting up in bed, Logan held his hand out. Christian handed him the cups and then with movements that said he had done this more than once, he popped the top of the bottle without spilling any and poured each of them a glass. He put the empty bottle to the side and sat next to Logan who handed him one of the cups and wrapped his arm around him. “To us,” Logan said simply, raising his cup.

Christian touched his cup to Logan’s, even as he leaned in and kissed him softly. “To us.”

There was something purely peaceful about being held in the arms of the man you loved, while sipping champagne and lying in bed. Logan was glad they had three days of this. He might not want to ever move again. When Christian put both of their cups on the side table and looked at him, there was no need for words and he leaned in and kissed him.

Why was it that every time they moved forward in their relationship the kisses seemed to be an even bigger expression of how he felt? It was the same action of warm lips meeting his own, of their tongues meeting in a dance that had become very familiar and yet… it was far more powerful than ever before.

About the author:

Thianna D is a writer of both het and m/m erotic romance. Most of her works include BDSM or DD. Logan and Christian brought together the domestic discipline way of life, spanking in an erotic context, and two amazing characters she loves very much. It is difficult to say goodbye to them as this is the final book in the trilogy. Thankfully she has a list of books she’s writing – that should help.

Caleb, from M/m spanking fiction writing duo Adam and Caleb comes for a visit to tell us a little about himself

Six months ago, I wrote a blog post on why I like reading gay spanking romance. Then out of the blue a few weeks ago, a wonderful guy named Caleb commented on it, asking if he could come visit. A few emails to and fro, and quite a few giggles later, I am absolutely thrilled to do a spotlight on Adam and Caleb and their works. Unfortunately I've only had time to read a few of their stories between then and now but I have to say I love what I've read so far. The northern English turn of phrase and matter of factness is a huge appeal to me, both in their writing and Caleb's mails. It's sure to raise a smile on your face. I'd love to visit Nether Kipping for real and not just in these really sweet stories. Do yourself a favour and check them out. So, I'm gonna thank Caleb for taking the trouble to do up this post and hand you all over to him :)

My name is Caleb and I write discipline fiction stories.  Not alone though. I write with my husband and Top, Adam.  We have done this since 2003. We also live in a discipline relationship which gives us a bit of an advantage and at times disadvantage.
I was told it would be nice to tell you a bit about my lifestyle choice so I can try.  I knew from a very young age that I was interested in spanking, not only because it was the from of discipline used in my home but because it peaked my curiosity whenever it was mentioned on telly.  My best mate and I used to trade spanking stories as children, you know the ones, my Da vs. your Tad.  He was Irish BTW and I am not.
When I got into my teen years I knew what I wanted in a boyfriend and it was a huge cock, it was someone who would spank me when I misbehaved.  I only had one that did though, the other two thought I was either daft or too much work.  Then I met Adam and it wasn't long into things when he brought up control issues. By that he meant he wanted to control things. All things. I have to admit, I went home and pondered the wisdom of being involved with someone who wanted to dictate bedtimes to me but in for a penny, in for a pound.
We sat down and had "the talk". Three cups of tea later and I was squirming and not because I needed the loo.
Not one part of the spanking in our home is erotic. It does not make either of us immediately want to hop into bed and have wild monkey sex or any sort of sex. I am exhausted by it all and just want a cuddle, a movie and maybe a drink.  He wants to cuddle and make sure that I am alright and calm and he definitly needs a drink.  Tea people, not alcohol.  So we pop in a movie, horror, thriller or if it has been a particularly long and painful spanking, rom-com or kidvid.
The rest of our lifetime is spent the same as everyone else, cooking, cleaning, going to town, the theatre, strongest man competitions, dentist, doctor, shopping and in October we always go and see the Ladyboys of Bangkok.

We have six cats now as we were recently joined by two darling black baby girls whom we chose to name Lilly and Poppy.  They joined  the others, Horatio or H who is 9, Serentity who is our baby girl, 8,  the thugs, Steve and Danny who just turned a year and Deric Damn Dog who we got from B&Q;  which is a whole nother story.

Currently our books are housed at Amazon Kindle but not all of them.  I managed to develop a tooth problem and have been on antibiotics  so several of them still need publishing.  You know how it is when you look at something and cannot for the life of you figure out what you need to do with it? That's my problem right now, lol.
We also are putting hard copies at Lulu for those who also like to hold a book in their hands at night as they settle down to sleep.  Create Space will be given a chance later on this fall, early winter months.

Blurb for Volume one
Nether Kipping is a small village set in the Cotsolds of southern England. It sits between Bristol and London and is near to Oxford. Home to not only the five founding families but many others, new and old have come and gone leaving behind a bit of themselves.
The village does have a few unique souls living there and our couples all share either a traditional or alternative lifestyle. By this we are saying they live discipline relationships. None of them looks on it as a fetish, although we do have a few that can get kinky wid it.
Come read as the brats play and pay for their various crimes and the Tops chase after them, paddles in hand to make sure they do not forget to soon.

Blurb
Jack makes a disturbing discovery and sets the village on fire. This is only one story of the 100+ that we have written in our part of the universe called Nether Kipping/Tales From The Village.

Everyone gets a part in this story and its timeline is after Boy Racers.

Nether Kipping sits between Bristol and London. It is home to many who practice the discipline lifestyle. Come and join the brats as they try to avoid consequences and the Tops who are determined to mete them out.

Grow Some Funk is a stand alone story and comes right after Boy Racers in Volume One. It is also included in Volume One.
Blurb
Ethan is quirky. He has a hard time talking to people about personal things so he shuts himself off from any contact but the most basic.
Andy has had enough. He wants Ethan to open up to him but in the meantime he takes matters into his own hands instead of just letting others tell him what to do and decides a holiday is in order. He chooses las Vegas and takes Chris along for the ride.
Jack is about to make Ethan's life hell. And we know he can do it.
Edward is enlisted to help out and things really hot up for the architect in ways he doesn't like.

Formerly known as Good bye Norma Jean and comes after Double Trouble.

Will My Arms Be Strong Enough came about because we had been developing the relationship between Jack and Ethan from a previous time in their lives.  They really wanted their story told and it has come about in bits and bobs through out the series. The title changed recently and had orginailly been because of a song that Adam and I both like.  We didn't use it though and as I was reading through the story again it hit me that the first pick was the best.

village. It ends badly for the brats and the Tops spend time apologising.
Jack iis pleased that his best mate from Beechcroft is there and he finally learns that his nemesis is too.

Set before book nine and is not a "new" story.

Keep Nether Kipping Khaki Free is more of the army invasion that exploded in the village. This time in both a good and not so good way, or at least for Jack.  It comes after A Camping We Will Go and is not included in the book. I think it's Volume Nine.

There is also one more but please do not be tempted to purchase it if you decide that you like the series as it is currently under revision.

#Wipitup Wednesday - His Forever Summer - Getting to know him

Thanks to Melody Parks for the WIP It Up Bloghop. I missed last week - sorry about that - I was too busy out gallivanting with my sisters and staying up way too late to join in. One day I'll be old enough to get sense - I just hope it's not too soon. This is an excerpt from His Forever Summer which is a Corbin's Bend novella due to come out in series two. I hope you'll have had a chance to read all of series one by then!!

Carla rushed through her chores so she could take a longer time off. Normally she exercised alone; the company would make a nice change. She was sorry he chose to swim though; you couldn’t exactly talk as you were cutting through the water. With a stabbing clarity, Carla became aware that she had shut herself off too much with the shame of her behaviour. She missed people.  She knew what she needed to do. She would make an appointment with a professional disciplinarian and deal with her guilt and try to move on.  Once the resolution struck her, she felt lighter.
“Come on, Lazybones. You’ve had two hours doing nothing and you’re not ready to leave yet,” Carla admonished as Kieran pottered about filling a water bottle with no sense of urgency. She was anxious to get to the pool as soon as possible as her valuable time was being eaten up. She still had the drive to Denver ahead of her. They walked the short distance to the pool, passing the impressive dome shaped community centre which completely captured Kieran’s attention. He was still marveling at it as they entered the pool area, which was busy enough with loungers rather than swimmers. A lot of the residents lunched there in summer.
“Race you,” she challenged as she hurriedly stripped down to her bathing costume.  She dove into the water, barely rippling the surface. The cold on her hot skin was delicious and she swam the first length under water, easily beating Kieran, who swam well enough, but with an unpolished stroke that had more splash than efficiency.
“I was being polite, not showing you up,” he justified as she waited. Carla laughed and started swimming for real. Her power and style were yards ahead of his, so she slowed down a little not to seem a show off.  After fifty laps she stopped a while as Kieran was out of breath.

“You’re not very fit, are you?” she blurted without thinking.

Carla is not known for her tact or discretion, bless her. She seems to have a touch of the foot in mouth disease. It's definitely gonna get her in trouble at some point.

Thanks for calling in, this is a blog hop so be sure to visit all of the links on today's hop.

The secret filthy life of a smut writer.

I don’t often share too much of my private life – I prefer to keep it separate to my smutty persona but the irony of this is not lost on me.

When you think of someone sitting down to their computer to write erotica you don’t ever think it might actually be the cleanest part of their day but let me tell you, all too often it is J
But the filth I’m talking about is not smut, oh no!
I’m talking muck, dirty brown earth mixed with rain water so that when you walk in it, you’re up to your ankles in mud. So job number one of the day is often pull the wellington boots on. Then it's off out to the woodshed… no don’t get too excited... it’s not for secret spankings hidden from the children – it’s to feed the feathered children – the hens and chickens.
The first thing that hits you is the noise as they demand their freedom and food, then the smell. So I trudge across the ground, covered in that smelly excrement that they will drop everywhere, and I mean everywhere, tiptoeing through the few spots they have not pooed on.
Next on the agenda is the pony. Mr Pony is even more mucky than Mr and all the Mrs and little Masters and Misses Chickens. His poop is so much bigger….Pick my way through, feed him try not to get stuck in any mucky holes that he has stamped into the soggy soil. Fail. Get wedged, land on my arse in mud, pick myself up, feed and water Mr Pony who I swear to God is laughing at me. Then the dogs run in around me as I try to get up, knocking me down into the dirt again in their enthusiasm.

Finally the day's dirt is done, I can shower, get clean and sit down and get dirty all over again, writing the filthiest sex I can imagine, while I stay nice and clean!!! J

Have a great day.

Author Interview with Rayanna Jamison on the Release of The Prodigal Bride and Polygamy

Hi Rayanna, I’m thrilled to have you here today. Congratulations on the release of The Prodigal Bride, second in the Love Multiplied series.
TF: Rumour has it that you actually live in a polygamist area in the USA, is this so? And if so, perhaps you would like to give a very brief outline of how it works, for the benefit of those who might not have seen your blog posts on the subject?
RJ:Thank You for having me Tara! I love doing interviews. It’s such a fun way to get to know my author friends and readers. I live in an area where it is rampant. You can’t go anywhere without seeing them although, I cannot say with any solid idea how many actually live in this town. However, 2 major polygamist sects have their communities about 45 minutes from here. We are the nearest large town, so they travel here a lot. Also, quite a few live around here, although I am not sure where or how many. There is a family just around the corner from me. I have seen them around, but not met them. As far as how it works, that largely depends on the sect, and their belief system. It’s not all as pretty as some modern TV shows make it out to be. One of the major groups around here is very scary in their morals and beliefs, and that is all I am going to say about that.
The second group, however, is the one I base my books off of. They have a very unique set of beliefs that I find intriguing. They believe that the woman recives a vision or a word from God that tells her who she is supposed to marry. She then (if she is of age at time of vision) takes the name to the bishop, who prays on it, and then informs the intended husband. After a short courtship, they marry.
TF: When I read your post on Natasha Knight's blog, I thought it was a fascinating set up, too. Obviously, there is no need to ask where you got your inspiration on the setting for your books, but what about the individual stories? Where do you look to for inspiration?
RJ:I watch a lot of the polygamy tv shows, and I just wait for an idea. The interesting thing is, with my first book, Bride Two Soon, the plot could not have existed outside a polygamist relationship. In The Prodigal Bride, the main story actually could have easily existed in a monogamous relationship, which made writing it as a polygamous tale more difficult at times. The other wives were not a major part of the plot, but they definitely added to the story and had a lot to do with the way it ended up in the end.
TF: I'm looking forward to reading this. You have shared the blurb with us all below, the story centres around a young woman who fled the village just hours before she was due to marry. What happens if someone leaves the village in real life, are they welcome to come back or is shunning the lifestyle seen as taboo and grounds for ostracization?
In the sect I base my stories off of, from what little I have seen, they don’t shun, and are very accepting should their children choose not to live a polygamist lifestyle. However, with the other sect that is nearby, that does not seem to be the case.
TF:. I’m curious, in Bride Two soon, although the woman chooses her husband it is still a very traditional society in that men are definitely the heads of house. Is that the case in real life, or are the relationships very much like modern ones, each family unit having their own dynamics?
RJ:To be truthful, I really have no idea. I believe men are mostly heads of the house in a lot of ways, but I couldn’t tell you if that involved domestic discipline or not. A friend who counsels a lot of DD couples and used to live nearby once told me it was. I have no idea if this is true. I really never gave polygamy much of a thought before I moved here. Then I watched everything I could, and when I was done with that, I began to read books on the subject. Me being me, I instantly searched for polygamous DD books. At the time, I didn’t see any, so I decided to write one.
TF: Is there a hierarchy amongst wives, if so how does it work?
RJ: Again, I don’t live polygamy, so I can’t speak to this very much. However, in the one sect, (not the one I base my books on) You can tell the first wife by her hairstyle. She gets a special hairstyle that the others don’t wear.
TF: I have to confess, you’ve caught my attention with the blurb, by telling us that Hiram’s wives begin scheming with Sophia, can you share any more about their plotting?
RJ: I can tell you that Hiram was already married to his first wife Lucy, when he was engaged to Sophia before she left. Sophia and Lucy had grown very close during the time Hiram and Sophia were courting. His second wife Phoebe however, was not in the picture then, so Sophia has never met her. This is crucial to the plot, and that is all I am going to say :)
TF: Can you remember making the decision to try your hand at writing? What prompted it?
RJ: I used to write as a girl. All my teachers thought I would be a writer someday, as did I. However, I quit writing in my teens and didn’t pick it back up for over 15 years.
TF: Have you any advice you would give an aspiring writer?
RJ: Have faith in yourself, don’t overthink it too much and just keep writing.
TF:.That's good advice! What’s next for Rayanna? Are you planning a third in the series? What else have you planned?
RJ:I am actually working on a novel for Corbin’s Bend that I am really excited about, and it is a little bit of a crossover. Hiram’s brother, Josiah (who is not married) will be leaving Green Valley and moving to Corbin’s Bend. He loves the traditional values he has grown up around, but has never been called to live polygamy. He will be much happier in Corbin’s Bend where he can fully embrace the spanko side of his nature and leave the other stuff behind.
TF: I'm really looking forward to reading how Josiah settles into life in Corbin's Bend!  What do you like to do in your free time?
I love exploring my new area, and finding fun and inexpensive things to do with my kids. I spend way too much time on facebook, and I love to cook.
TF: It's been a pleasure having you here and getting to know more about you, Rayanna. And very informative too. I wish you every success with the release of the Prodigal Bride.

Excerpt:

Hiram banged on the door to Josiah's small house. "Josiah!" He bellowed, "Open up! I

just called the station, and they said you were off shift. I know you're home, open up!"

He hesitated as he waited for Josiah to come to the door. He knew he needed to go home

and check on Lucy and deal with Phoebe's text, and help with the younger kids, but he also knew

he couldn't go home in his current mood. He needed to blow off some steam first, and Josiah's

house was the perfect place to do that.

He raised his fist to bang on the door again, just as a very annoyed and sleepy looking

Josiah flung it open.

Josiah was shirtless, and his hair mussed from the pillow. He had a two-day growth on

his normally clean-shaven face. Hiram winced. He knew Josiah was coming off a long shift,

and he had hoped to catch him before he went to bed.

"Hiram," Josiah barked. "I just got off a twenty-four hour shift. Can we do this later?"

"No," Hiram said darkly, as he shoved past his brother into the small kitchen and grabbed

a beer from the fridge, chucking the top off angrily.

He watched as Josiah squinted at him, looking stunned. Hiram knew his brother well

enough to know what Josiah was thinking. Hiram rarely drank, and was never one to help

himself to something that wasn't first offered.

"Oh, I know what this is about," Josiah said nodding. "Look, Hiram, I'm sorry, I had no

choice. I had to give her a ticket. She was speeding in a school zone!"

"Not what this is about," Hiram growled. "I'll deal with Phoebe later. And, I would never

be mad at you for doing your job."

Josiah sighed, and grabbed himself a beer. "So then, what's got you so upset, Bro? It's not

like you. Is everything okay with Lucy?"

"She's back."

"She's back? From where? Where did she go? Was it for treatment?"

Hiram frowned. He apparently wasn't making any sense. He was all tied in knots from

seeing Sophia. "No, not Lucy," he corrected. "She didn't go anywhere. She's at home in bed.

Sophia."

"Sophia?" Josiah choked out staring at him slack jawed. "Sophia Randall? In Green

Valley? When did that happen? She hasn't been back since..." he broke off, uncertain of how

much to say.

"Since she swore to the bishop, and her parents, and the entire town that I was her

intended husband, and then ran off minutes before the wedding, never to be seen or heard

from again until today? You can say it, Jos, I remember all too well." Hiram tipped his head

back, and drained the bottle of beer in two big gulps.

Blurb

The Prodigal Bride
Sophia Randall had no intention on returning to her home in the polygamist community she grew up when she left Hiram Jefferson just hours before their wedding. Though she cared deeply for Hiram and his family, she was young and impulsive.
Ten years, two children, and one monogamous marriage later, returning to Green Valley after the death of her husband is the only option left.
Hiram was devastated when Sophia left him at the alter. With everything already on his plate-- between his job as the district superintendent, his large family, and one sick wife, the last thing he needs is the headache of Sophia being back in town.
When his wives go behind his back and form an alliance with Sophia, what is left for him to do but show them the error of their ways with a little old fashioned discipline. But what will happen when he finds out the true reason Sophia left him in the first place?

#Satspanks #Girlstalk Waiting for That Someone Special in My Naughty Little Secret

It's Saturday again. How in hell does it always roll around so quickly? There was a time, in my carefree London days, that Saturdays were the be all and end all of everything. It was fun time! My Naughty Little Secret captures a lot of those happy memories, houseshares,  men troubles, sharing, laughing and all sorts of silly stuff. Siobhan, (who is written  in the first person) and her two housemates are catching up after a brief separation. Siobhan has just met Michael, and it led to all sorts of embarrassment. Siobhan is recounting her day as her housemates laugh at her.

Tara looked at me with contempt: “I’m surprised you’ve ever had the nerve to do it at all, you’re not married.”
I could feel the blushes rising to the tips of my ears and I primly replied, “Oh, be quiet, just because I treat my body with respect…”
“Respect? More like morbid fear,” Tara teased. I wasn’t really a prude; it’s just that to me, sex was still a bit special, not necessarily saved for marriage, but still, for someone you had real feelings for. I’d only had a couple of sexual relationships; they were okay, but I could never see what the big fuss was about, and I really didn’t get why Tara seemed to want to jump into bed with every man she met.
“If you wait any longer, you’ll be a virgin again,” she baited me.
“Oh, cut it out, the pair of you!” Claire advised, noticing that I was getting a bit annoyed.
To change the subject, I told them about being caught red-handed in the lingerie department by James and Michael.

Siobhan is about to learn what the big fuss is about as she finds her kink :)

From the moment she saw him on her first day at her new job in London, there was something about Michael which annoyed Siobhan Brennan… and something else that pulled her to this stunningly handsome man and his boldly arrogant personality. In spite of her misgivings she soon finds herself out on a date with him, and she is torn between a desire to defy him as often as possible and a deeper, more disturbing need to submit to him. It certainly doesn’t help that very embarrassing thoughts keep popping into her head uninvited: images of herself bent over, bare bottom on display, waiting for Michael to chastise her firmly.

It is not long before Siobhan, in a rash moment, actually dares Michael to spank her, only to find that he is more than up to the challenge of turning her naked backside bright red. To her horror, her sore behind only fuels the fire growing within her, and she is soon on her knees before him, blushing with shame yet needing him to take her and take her hard.

It is only afterwards that the couple must come to terms with what took place, and what it means for their relationship. Was this just a one-time event, something to be tried but never repeated, or will Siobhan find herself punished like a naughty girl again in the future? As scandalized as it makes her feel, in her heart she knows what she needs, but is Michael prepared to give it to her? And when she finds out that Michael has kept something important from her about his past and who he really is, will she be able to forgive him or will the revelation tear them apart forever?

Publisher’s Note: My Naughty Little Secret is an erotic novel that includes spankings, anal play, graphic sexual scenes, elements of BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
