Holy cow, it's Saturday again already. I apologise for my disappearing act. This is my busiest time of year in my day job and I will be wearing my normal hat for most of the time until Mid November, only popping in and out of my blog. BUT...since I have a release next week, you might get to see a little more of me. No, stop groaning... you don't HAVE to visit :D
Of course, with His Forever Summer being released next week, I have to share a snippet from that.
It finally happens, Kieran finds out that there is more to the Corbin's Bend housing Co-op than just being a wonderful place to live. He's a little shocked, to say the least, and goes to mull it over with Carla.
“Okay, out with it. Is it Corbin’s Bend or your woman troubles?” she asked as he handed her a bottle.
“Neither. Family troubles. I find my brother beating the arse off his wife, and I’m supposed to butt out and do nothing. It goes against everything we were taught growing up. My parents would be disgusted. Hell, I’m disgusted."
Uh oh, that went well then :D. Well, if you remember, when Carla first met him, she wanted to be a fly on the wall when he first found out. She may not have actually been there, but she does get to attempt to paper over the cracks. I hope she is successful.
His Forever Summer is scheduled to be released on Blushing Books next Wednesday and will be available on Amazon, and Barnes and Noble very soon after. If you bought the prebuy, don't forget to download your copy on Blushing books. Have a great weekend and enjoy all of your weekly Saturday spankings below.
His Forever Summer Release Date 22 October 2014Carla Methon has tread on a lot of toes, men’s and women’s alike. But no one could be more dissatisfied with Carla than the lady herself. With a compunction to throw herself at every man within a three mile radius and a serious case of foot in mouth disease, Carla knows she is in desperate need of being taken in hand before she does any more damage to her reputation.
Kieran O’Brien needs to escape a broken relationship and he invites himself to spend a summer with his brother in Corbin’s Bend. But Kieran is a totally unsuspecting vanilla with no idea of the ethos of the community he is about to enter.
The pair strike up an unlikely friendship of vanilla and spice, with one stipulation – it is only a summer fling. By the time Kieran boards his flight to return to Ireland he wishes his summer could last forever. Can he find the courage, not only to admit the extent of his feelings, but to take on the role Carla so desperately needs him to be?
