Saturday Spankings

Hello and welcome to another Saturday Spankings Blog Hop. If you're reading this it's a minor miracle! It means that I have successfully scheduled and linked a post with linky-links and you're probably thinking, well done Tara, it only took you one year....

I am so excited. Exile To Unity releases on Wednesday 28th - only days away. You might wonder how an Irish couple end up in Corbin's Bend. The answer is they need to escape. I know it's not a spanking scene as such, but it's the outcome of a spanking gone wrong! I am sharing the first eight lines of the book this week, in the hope it will make you curious :D

June. Dublin, Ireland.

Angela O’Brien was ashen as she left the courthouse. She gripped her husband’s hand tightly, hiding as much of her face as she could from the reporters. She would speak to no one. Her tall, brawny husband looked solemn as he brushed aside photographers. She’d had to fight her dismissal, absolutely had to. It was wrong. No-one should be sacked from their position as a result of their intimate relations within marriage. It was nobody’s business but theirs.

Exile to Unity
Release Date: May 28, 2014

When their preference for BDSM becomes embarrassingly public, Angela and Jim O’Brien decide to start afresh in Corbin’s Bend, a community based on a common ethos of spanking, a place where Ange hopes they can belong.

Ange soon learns that in this new environment,  Jim is not beyond chastising her with a good sound spanking as the couple face their past demons and try to recover the closeness they once shared.  New challenges soon face the couple.  Will their difficulties destroy them or can their move be what Ange initially hoped for, an exile to unity?

Thank you for taking the time to join me, have a great weekend and remember to visit all the other wonderful links.

    1. Thanks Natasha, Interestingly enough, I read a book about the legalities of BDSM in the UK, I know their laws are different, but there are many jobs that would be in jeopardy if someone's involvement in BDSM came out. Scary stuff!

  7. Wow, you've tackled quite an issue. No one should be terminated, but indeed it does happen. I am one who must hide my author self. I wish there was a Corbin's Bend for all of us who spank or practice BDSM. Loved this. Congrats on your new book release.

  9. I hear you about the scheduler. Sometimes when I did it it didn't work so I gave up and post them before I go to bed now. :)

    1. Thanks Normandie.
Yeah, the scheduler was driving me nuts, actually not so much the scheduler, but the linky links working in tandem with the scheduler. Then Cara suggested switching to Chrome instead of Explorer, and I changed the way I name my post and touch wood, it seems to be working for me now,
